It Works!

In my sessions with your child, I will use a variety of different techniques such as gestural communication, affect, and cueing to advance symbolic play, conversation, and other areas of relating. I expand on what already brings your child joy. This helps the child build on their capacity and their confidence to express their needs, desires, feelings, affects, and ideas. In addition, I offer both gross and fine motor activities that provide an assortment of opportunities to encourage sensory organization, emotional and physical regulation, motor control, and functional skills. My work is individualized for your child. I implement customized therapeutic programs and social facilitation through recommendations of Speech and Language Pathologists, Behavioral Therapists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Developmental Pediatricians, Teachers, Program Supervisors, and others.

Having Experience Matters.

I have experience with children on the Autism Spectrum, who have Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), PDD NOS, ADD/ADHD, Sensory Integration Challenges, phobic tendencies and rigidities, Non-Verbal Learning Disorder, language delays, processing delays, anxieties, constrictions, and more. I recognize that we all have a different way of prioritizing the world and want to work with your child and the reality they may be experiencing.  I am always sensitive to parent's individual differences as well.
